How is it possible that some people seem to be unbothered about almost anything.
No matter what happens, no matter the situation or circumstances, no matter what people may tell them, some people seem to be untouched by any of that. How is that possible? Are they so detached from everything and everyone? Are they so cold hearted that they don’t care?
No, they certainly are not – at least the majority of them aren’t.
Those people are, in most cases, one of the kindest and most compassionate people. They are not detached from anything or anyone, but they’ve learned not to be attached. Instead, they are connected to all their surroundings.
Those people understand that every person have their own individual life journey and they accept them as such.
Because life journey doesn’t count only from the moment when we meet someone, it starts when we’re born. It’s being shaped by the first family and we transform it throughout life.
Others may have an impact on some of these transformations but it would be rather foolish to think that apart from our own journey, we can shape, direct or even control someone else’s one.
Therefore, if we learn to accept everyone, even our beloved ones, as individuals who we have the privilege to be with and around, but fully respect their life choices, not only that we will not take anything personally, but we will find an inner peace and the true meaning of unconditional love.
Similarly it is with things that may happen to us or circumstances that we may have to deal with and are caused by someone else’s actions. Those actions have nothing to do with us. They only reflect that certain person and they show what possibly is this individual dealing with internally. Realising that doesn’t offer the option of taking it personally but it most definitely offers the option of deep compassion, empathy and unconditional love becoming.
And as for the little slips and trips in life, there is no difference. We all make steps that we may call mistakes. Out of curiosity, out of boredom, out of finding a missing piece… anything can be the reason. But the only things that we can take personally, are our own actions, our own thoughts and our own decisions and choices. Even those, once done, we should simply accept and move on.
Acceptance is a peaceful state filled with nothing but love and that is the only personal thing that matters ❤️🍀.
